HOLIDAYS Our Escorted Holidays feature carefully planned itineraries and comfortable hotels (mainly 4-star rated), all of which have been inspected by senior staff. We often stay in unspoilt areas, sometimes a little ‘off the beaten track, and certainly away from mass-market holiday resorts.
Our experienced Tour Managers normally live full-time in the countries they work in, bringing you the extra benefit of their up-to-date, local knowledge.
All holidays have included visits – our programme features over 30 UNESCO heritage sites. But we plan carefully so that there is time to relax as well as sightsee!
Use our ‘Holiday Search’ above to find an interesting holiday, departing direct from your local airport.
Use our ‘Walking Holidays’ search, in the orange section above, to find a walking holiday departing direct from your local airport. Or go to our brochure downloads page…
Our Walking Holidays are based in good 3* and 4* hotels in interesting, scenic areas.
We include three walking excursions, which are led by experienced, locally-based walking guides. Some have the option of a fourth walk, too.
We cater for regular walkers of a range of abilities: that said, mother nature’s terrain means that walking in the High Pyrenees, for example, is rather more challenging than the flatter terrain of Catalonia, the Balearics, or Portugal. Some walks have a break point if you do not wish to do the full distance. Walking boots are essential and walking poles can be helpful, too.
Transport to and from the walks, where necessary, is included. Sometimes more than one walking group will share transport to a walk starting point: in this case we may ask you to wait a few minutes before starting out, so as to keep the walking groups separate.
OUR HOLIDAYS Most of our holidays include evening dinner as well as breakfast. We have a permanent presence in Spain and Italy, helping us plan better holidays for you and maintaining good relations with suppliers. We travel widely – incidentally, both our directors have lived abroad, speak foreign languages fluently, and each has over 30 years’ travel industry experience.
