The next stop on our look at our familiar faces and places is the Algarve, in particular the village of Armação de Pêra where old ‘harbourless’ fishing traditions still exist in the form of brightly painted fishing boats pulled up on to the sand with their catch. It is here that our customers experience the warm hospitality and friendly service from one of our longest standing accommodation providers – the Holiday Inn Algarve.
The first Preferred Travel Services clients stayed at the hotel in 2005 and, over the last fifteen years, many hundreds of our customers have enjoyed the stunning panoramic views over the bay, watched sunsets against the surrounding cliffs and stepped directly down onto the magnificent sandy beach; all thanks to the hotel’s prime beachfront position. Opened in 1963 as the Hotel Garbe, it rebranded as the Holiday Inn Algarve in 2010. But very little changed; remaining under the same ownership and retaining the same excellent staff that our customers had become familiar with.
